Last Sunday I spent the day at the Artists' Boulevard at Oulton Broad, as I do every Sunday.  The picture is me wearing my new sun hat.  It was the first Sunday this year I didn't need a warm coat, as the sun was blazing all day.  I used lots of sun cream to prevent me from getting burnt, and I picked up a nice colour.  What I didn't expect was to get burned under my clothes!  The sun was so hot, the rays penetrated my cotton dress and burned my tummy area!

Sales for everyone were quiet.  Sometimes if it's a nice day, people go to the beach instead of coming to the Broad and park, so we can do better on cloudy days!  However, I did sell a couple of items, enough to cover the cost of the car park.

It's a nice day out though, even if sales are poor, because we get to chat with lots of different people, and pass the time with friends on other stalls.
