Last Saturday I took a stall at Beccles Farmers' Market.  It's open the first and third Saturday of every month, however due to existing commitments I'll only be going along on the third Saturday of every month.

I was very encouraged by my first excursion there.  The organisers and the other stallholders were all friendly and very helpful, and made lovely comments about my pottery.

I sold several items and took two commissions, not bad for my first time there.  Hopefully things will go from strength to strength.

I've had a busy month making lots of pots ready for the coming season.  This weekend was quite busy; on Saturday I was at a craft fair in Lowestoft, then on Sunday I was at the Artists' Boulevard in Oulton Broad.  The Boulevard is an outdoors event and I was late getting there because I managed to lock my car keys in the boot!  I had to wait for a locksmith to come and get them out.

However, although I arrived at the Boulevard nearly 2 hours late, and it was a nasty shock to the system to be sitting outside for several hours in the chilly April wind, the rain held off and I sold a few items, plus I took an order for a set of pots.

I'll be at the Boulevard every Sunday until the end of September now, weather and health permitting.  I'm hoping some of my new ranges will do well this year.
